Summary: Michelle made our experience super easy and memorable! Drive up a private road and a pretty steep hill (4wd a must in winter) to a secluded, beautiful house with plenty of space. Just you and nature. The house itself has all the amenities - full kitchen, sitting areas, and even a wood stove that Michelle started up before we got there. Beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms have insane mountaintop views. Michele even left a few eggs for starter breakfast which was much appreciated. You can’t find a better home base for all your VT adventures. Will be back for sure. Thanks Michelle!

Summary: My friend and I stayed here and enjoyed the lovely view, even in February. We found the home cozy and comfortable, with everything we could possibly need. The hosts were kind enough to let us check in early, which was so nice of them. It seems to be a lived in home, so there are family items there, and some repairs are needed (stove handle and deck rails), but we very much enjoyed our stay overall.

Summary: This lovely farmhouse at the end of a private road was perfect for the quiet country escape we had planned. A great base location for hikes in the Southern Vermont mountains and also a comfortable home to relax in all day. Hosted with respect for your privacy while available for any needs or questions. Summary: The house is beautiful and in a remote, quiet spot with a great view. Unfortunately it rained all 3 days of our short trip so we were unable to sit on the deck and enjoy the view. The owner communicated with us often and seemed very nice through the emails. We wish we could have stayed longer. We got food at the Putney Country store to bring back to the house to eat and it was delicious!
