Positive: Hilltop cottage was clean, cosy, cofortable and tastfully furnished. The kitchen was well equiped with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and it was lovely to wake up each morning to beautiful views of the hills. The views from the front windows were stunning and it was lovely, at the end of a day exploring, to be able to sit out on the patio and enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.

Positive: The cottage was clean, comfortable and fully equipped for all eventualities. All appliances and promised firewood etc. were as expected. We were sorry to leave at the end of our stay and will be trying to stay there again. Particularly quiet, on most days it was a surprise to have a car pass the property.

Negative: AS we arrived late, after dark. The lower two steps at the entry were in the dark.

Summary: Hilltop Cottage is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view, comfortable and cosy.

Positive: Great cottage, well equipped with everything you need.

Negative: TV did not work but soon sorted it. The garden was not enclosed, could do with a gate to prevent the dog from getting out

Positive: We really liked the location. Every time you looked through the window you were surrounded by hills. Very quiet place. Love it from first sight. Inside the cottage was everything we wished for. It was clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. We felt at home. The owners guidance and support was also excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Positive: This property is perfect, everything is high quality and the attention to detail makes this feel like home from home. The views from the property are amazing and it is very well situated in the middle of Northumberland making it easy to visit all of the county.
