Positive: This was a lovely cottage, so close to many walks in the Dales, especially the decent from Bucken Pike. Each of the bedrooms is very well equipped, as are the kitchen and lounge areas. I always enjoy cooking , so to have proper sharp knives and all the pots and pans I need, is a bonus. The cottage has the bedrooms on the ground floor and social space, into the garden in the first floor which works really well.

Summary: This was a great long weekend away with the family

Positive: Gorgeous property, very high spec, lots of extras in the kitchen.

Negative: Really poor directions. Detailed information about how to find the property would have been appreciated. A large sign at the bottom of the lane would have been helpful. Lots of flies around in the evening whilst sitting outside. We all got bitten. Such a shame we had to sit indoors in the evening

Positive: This is an extremely comfortable and well thought out property. It is well kept, spotlessly clean with good use of outdoor space. We particularly liked the little balcony overlooking the beautiful countryside.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike. We did, however, find the driveway slightly misleading and ended up on a very scary tractor track at the side of the property!

Summary: An excellent property in a stunning location. Would definitely re-book a return visit.

Positive: Location terrific, loads of walks of varying degrees of difficulty available. A little early in the season for all facilities to be open, ie pubs and cafes but we had guessed that would be the case and were happy that the countryside was not heaving with traffic! Cottage was delightful. Very clean, comfy, warm and cosy. Kitchen was well equipped. Wasn't warm enough to sit in the garden but it looked a lovely spot to have a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down.

Negative: The only thing I can say is that there were no large bath towels. The towels and linen supplied were of good quality but I did miss a soft large towel after a shower!

Summary: Glad we booked this cottage and would recommend it.
