Summary: The manager was very helpful as I booked the room online and we have bicycles, equipment, food bins, etc. He helped us check out other possibilities for our stay & we had success! Nice view, close to downtown too. The units are very basic, mostly clean and safe.

Summary: The motel is clean But Very outdated for the price The beddings was clean but outdated the bathtub was 1970s and yellow. The furniture was very outdated The indian owner is very nice man and his wife. But I should of paid 30$ more and got better because the motel is not worth $100 a night. I stayed in better for less then half that price. So when your booking for a room keep this in mind. I only stayed 2 nights. The room was find for 2 nights but if your a fussy person who expects nice this would not be the place for you. There was 2 bees in the room. And ants on the floor. To be polite I would not stay at that motel again. But I mentioned the owner is a really nice guy

Summary: The room was nice, in one of the two houses at the facility instead of the motel proper. It has a mini fridge, sink and 2 beds. Beds were ok for comfort. Had a bit of an old house smell. The area doesn't have much, and is in a neighborhood with a bit of urban decay. The owner was lovely, taking interest in what we doing in town and checking in with us whenever we saw him.

Summary: Not well cleaned and in major need of repair and paint; an overall renovation required. I would not recommend or return at that Motel.

Summary: Lokesh Kant was helpful in making us comfortable during our stay. He was informative when we asked about places of interest to visit while in the area. We enjoyed talking with him as he was very personable. We definitely would recommend Hillside Motel. It was not the Taj Mahal, but for the value price, it was worth staying there. If and when we are in St John, we would stay there again.

Summary: Wasn't an amazing stay. Booked a queen, arrived and told there wasn't one. Given a room with 2 beds instead, told it was a queen but was doubles. Had to sleep in separate beds that night. Asked for a queen the following day and was given it. Property said it had hair blowers and didn't. We were on a motorcycle trip so knowing these things were important. Plugs in bathrooms didn't work. Staff was friendly but the hotel definitely still needs work. Beds were adequate but not very comfortable.
