Positive: Excellent location - outside the city centre but easily accessible; excellent transport links and Grinzing is a gorgeous district. Beautiful apartment - clean, spacious, with everything I needed for a lovely stay. I needed a stable WiFi connection for work and it was excellent. Highly recommended!

Negative: I wouldn't recommend choosing a ground-floor room, because you're practically on the street. The windows have shutters that are dirty and not functional and anyone from the outside can peek into your room

Negative: Unfortunately on arrival, the code to enter the apartment did not work and I had to contact the property to gain access The response on that first evening was extremely quick, but unfortunately the next day it took about an hour before I was finally able to get in. The young man who came to fix it couldn't have been more helpful or apologetic, so that was all fine, but unfortunately there was also some kind of work being done outside at ridiculous hours - not the host's fault O know, but I got hardly any sleep on the last night as a result, leaving me with only a mediocre overall impression.
Summary: Very nice accommodation in a normally excellent location.

Positive: Great location! Great apartment! Very tidy and clean. The terrace was fantastic!
Negative: Fridge was not closing properly so water was dripping from freezer down into the fridge making everything wet. There were no wiper for the shower so the floor stayed all wet after showering which we asked the host to provide without any luck. Also there was only one fairly small mirror inside the bedroom which was a bit limiting.
Summary: Great location and great apartment, slightly restricted in terms of facilities.

Negative: We were falsely accused of breaking a mirror and soon after checkout, received a charge request through Booking.com—despite the owner telling us everything was fine. There was no prior contact from the property before the charge request. We reached out to Hills Residence and, after two days, received a response and had a quick call via WhatsApp, during which the property admitted it was a mistake. They apologized and promised the charge request would be canceled within two days. After a few days without any update on Booking.com, I contacted their support, and they informed me that the charge had not been canceled and would be processed—even though I had initially declined it. The property later claimed the charge request had been canceled as promised. Due to these conflicting statements, I’m still unsure what actually happened. So far, I haven’t been charged, and I hope it stays that way. After an initially good impression of the property, I’m disappointed they didn’t contact us directly before involving Booking.com. That simple step could have saved us a lot of time trying to sort out the situation with both the property and Booking.com—especially given that Booking.com’s bureaucracy and internal chaos only made matters worse. UPDATE: Finally, after more than three weeks, I received confirmation from Booking.com that I will not be charged for anything.
