Negative: Lots of spiders in webs in between the windows and screens so you couldn't open them. Mattresses needed replacement.

Positive: Hillcrest Hideaway is a lovely vacation getaway in the North Georgia Mountains. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has every utensil and gadget you could possibly need. Each bedroom plus the loft and main living areas have TVs. Full sized washer and dryer. The best part is the outside areas. There is a long screened porch with plenty of seating and beautiful views of the lake and mountains. There is also a lovely seating area with rockers and a swing surrounding a fire pit in the backyard off the back deck.

Negative: The only thing that was a tiny challenge for me was the 7 or 8 steps up at all entrances. I'm a little older, and I had to carry my small dog in and out for each potty break. The photos clearly show this. I just didn't think about it until I was there. It would be of no consequence to most people.

Summary: I loved my relaxing stay at Hillcrest Hideaway!

Positive: The view was wonderful. The house was great. It was good to be able to separate couples to different areas of the home. It was cozy with all sitting in front of the fireplace. The parking and location was perfect. Even the local stores could deliver.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect!

Positive: The cabin was beautiful! We were pleasatly surprised with each step into the cabin! The overall cleanliness, the decor, the layout, the attention to every little detail!! Detail such as trash bags in waste can, toliet paper in the bathroom, full bucket of ice in the freezer, house temperature nice 68 degrees when we arrived that is the some of details that I am talking about!! Kitchen fully stocked (Ok so no pitcher but I got over that!) otherwise it was great! Loved thr fact it had a washer & dryer!! Loved, Loved, Loved the jetted tub upstairs and huge soaking tub downstairs. The views were excellents!! Loved all the patios, back porches!! Really liked the fire pit and swing!! Sweet!! We had a great time!! We want to come back soon! Allen & Louise Kinnard.

Negative: The road to the cabin!! A little steep and full of potholes!! Otherwise it was fine!!
