Positive: Lovely house, well furnished and convenient for visiting family nearby.

Negative: Steps at the front very steep and difficult in the dark. Not recommended for the elderly or disabled. Also, parking and leaving the street can be quite difficult due to the hill and sharp bend.

Summary: Overall, lovely house. Great for able bodied people

Positive: Hill House was well equipped, comfortable, warm and clean. A minor hitch wherein the bunk beds were not made up (Owner misread the booking details), was put right within an hour of calling the owner. The cleaner came out specially on her return from a shopping trip to Cardiff and sorted it out quickly and efficiently in a friendly manner. Not at all put out. The garden has a nice elevated seating area for summer evenings (not used on this cold wintry January visit!). The welcome manual listed many local attractions and several cycling and walking trails.

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: The location was perfect for us as we were visiting family within walking distance Our host decorated the house with some Christmas decorations and a tree to make it festive for us 🎄😊

Negative: There was some mould around the bath tub which is likely caused by water from the shower screen and continually being damp

Summary: We were warm comfortable and in close proximity to supermarket for anything we needed

Positive: A great home from home. The house is beautiful with lovely set out rooms. My boys loved the board game selection. A fully stocked clean kitchen. The most beautiful view from the front of the house.

Negative: The steps to the attic room (3rd floor) were very steep as my 5 year old found out with a tumble. But not in any way the hosts fault. Also parking was limited. We did take a wrong turn as sat nav got a bit confused trying to find the property. Could maybe do with some additional lighting on the front steps as again, they are quite steep.
