Positive: Great location provides an easy walk, ride or drive to town and attractions coupled with on-site quiet day and night. Large and well-decorated rooms, comfy lounge areas, nice garden and excellent breakfast. Our hostess, Mae, was a delight! So helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She whipped up a lovely breakfast. We were sad to go and hope to return. Mae is a gem!

Negative: They were finishing up renovations while we were there and we never were able to get hot water in the shower.

Summary: Quiet location within walking distance of Rock of Cashel and Hore Abbey.

Positive: Firstly - OH WOW! An absolutely stunning great, old house which has been beautifully restored by a wonderful young couple. Our stay couldn't have been better. Gorgeous bedroom, beautiful breakfast, stunning views and wonderful location at the top of Cashel Town. Every thought has been put into guests' comfort - from lovely cake and coffee upon arrival to a cheeky glass of whiskey in the drawing room that evening. Veronica is the perfect host. We cannot wait to visit again. Such a lovely energy in the house which added to a great night's sleep. Simply cannot think of enough good things to say about our stay here : )

Positive: The stunning view of Cashel's most famous landmark - The Rock of Cashel - from one of our bedroom windows was very special. The hilltop location and mature grounds guarantee almost unbroken rural views in all directions. Our host, Veronica, was warm and welcoming and provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was continental with lots of fresh local produce in evidence - a large dining table to accommodate up to eight guests provided an opportunity to chat to others and share discoveries and knowledge about local events and places of interest.

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Summary: A warm, friendly base ideally located for exploring East & South Tipperary.
