Positive: Lovely cottage in a very quiet location. Clean & comfortable with everything we needed for a weeks stay. The large enclosed garden was great to let the dogs wonder & play in too. Village of Mullion has a couple of small supermarkets & more importantly 2 nice pubs which is about a 20 minute walk away down a fairly quiet country lane.

Positive: Totally enclosed large garden, great for leaving dog outside to do what dogs do. Host has mowed around the edges of two large fields and has placed a bench at the top of each, ideal for watching the sunset with a glass of red. Well equipped kitchen, leaving one of the kitchen cupboards empty ready for food storage is a good thought. The whole cottage is spotlessly clean. Towels and bed linen are outstanding. Very good quality - The White Company no less. Soft bed with white cotton sheets - fabulous after a hard day walking. Excellent power shower, heated towel rails to dry towels. On approach to the cottage, the roads get narrower and narrower until its a gravel track through the woods with passing places. Do not let this put you off, its well worth it when you get to the cottage. Good internet connection, even though Booking.com state 'no wifi' Huge smart tv and dvd / blue ray player, with films. Log burner for any chilly evenings or when a man just needs to light a fire! Plenty of kindling in the woods. The host, Justin is very knowledgeable about the walks and the area in general. There if you need him, not there if you don't. Village of Mullion has a Spa shop with great pasties, also a Coop with good choice. Fish and chips from the Galleon are excellent and are cooked to order. Old Mill pub is okay but needs some TLC. Boots Chemist and local curry takeaway - handy to have. Good bus services. Mullion Harbour is on the Coast Path.

Negative: Garden furniture could do with being upgraded, very uncomfortable. A nice outdoor sofa and table would be great! Getting picky now ... but there is a very comfy squashy leather sofa, a log burner and a massive tv. It would be perfect with a foot stool in between.

Summary: Excellent, well equipped cottage for two walkers and hound. We absolutely loved it & will be back!

Negative: Rough, but beautiful track from road to house. More isolated thsn suggested by advertising. Booking agency presented details repetetively. Emails came in long strung out format: most unprofessional. Also received duplicate info from owner.
