Positive: Lovely location, just a cab ride to city centre, a massive house with rooms and bathrooms for everyone. Host was a phone call away when we couldn’t find the cutlery

Negative: There were some rooms that didn’t have hot water at times but didn’t affect us too much!

Positive: The house was in the perfect location. Easy to find with shops and bars close by. The house was lovely and the social space was the perfect size for our group. We had everything we needed for a weekend away.

Negative: The parking gate didn't always close so had some issues with other people parking, despite all the private parking signs! Which made it more tricky for our party to get in and out of the available spaces.

Positive: It was such an amazing house. So much room. Loved the fact every room had a bathroom. It’s in an amazing location. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Helps that there is a secure private car park

Positive: Nicely decorated. Bedding and towels were clean. Great location - Sainsburys local and Tesco express just outside; lots of places to eat; taxi rank, bus stop, bikes, boat all close by. Parking easily fitted our 4 cars. Good fridge freezer.

Negative: Labels on light switches would be very helpful. Someone put washing up liquid in the dishwasher so there were bubbles all over the kitchen when we arrived. We had to rinse it about 4 times before we could use it. Seemed like a stupid thing to do, but no dishwasher tablets were provided. Kitchen: 14-person place with cutlery for 9. One gas burner didn't work. Pans have seen better days. No basics like salt, pepper, oil. Fairly sure the coffee was left by a previous guest. Info says coffee maker but there isn't one. Dining: cushions on the chairs would be nice. Bathrooms: toiletries were awful - some had lots of lotion but no soap. Showers didn't work as designed. Bathtaps but no plug. One bathroom had a leak from the sink. Communication before and after stay: sent lots of info but very poor at responding. I'm still waiting (2 months later) to find out if they found my charger and will return it. Cigarette butts left in an ashtray and a plant pot on the terrace.
