Positive: There are two main benefits to staying at this place. For one, Barbara is a warm host, and she has excellent knowledge of the area. If you have any questions about how to get somewhere or what to do, she has you covered. Secondly, the location is excellent. It's right in front of the Soca river, and it's only a 3 minute walk to a grocery store and a bus stop that will take you to Tolmin.

Negative: We stayed here for one night, and they had no toilet paper or hand soap. (My boyfriend pooped twice, each time forgetting to take in his own toilet paper. What a disaster!) Also, the rates for this place are like a hotel, but the set up is more like a hostel. You share the bathroom with two other rooms, and this means you may be sharing it with four other people, which is quite a lot.

Summary: Great location and warm hosts, but beware it's more of a hostel and not a hotel.

Positive: We had a great stay at Hiša Vuga! The place is super clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Barbara was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and full of great tips for exploring the area. Thanks to her, we got to visit some beautiful and historic spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommended!
