Positive: Our stay here far exceeded our expectations! The apartment was absolutely spotless and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long term stay. What really stood out was the incredible staff, they were so kind and accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in and a late check-out when we ran into car trouble. You get a stunning view of the mountains from the property, and the location is perfect: there’s a small shop nearby and the ski slopes are only 10 minutes away. We’ll definitely be back!

Positive: Amazing apartment for a big group! We stayed with friends and their kids, and everyone had plenty of space, their own bedrooms, and private bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner was super friendly, and communication was easy and smooth throughout our stay.

Positive: We had the 3 bedroom apartment. Finished to a high standard. Immaculately clean. All bedrooms en-suite. Kitchen well stocked with every utensil you needed. Dishwasher, washing machine. Mountain views from the two balconies are outstanding. Ample free onsite parking. Ziva, the host, was polite, friendly, helpful and easily contactable. 10/10 for hosting - thank you 🙂

Positive: Hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed – spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly located for exploring Slovenia’s lakes and mountain hikes. The mountain views from both the living room balcony and one of the upstairs bedrooms were absolutely breathtaking, and the house was immaculately clean, finished to a luxurious standard throughout. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and met us at the property, which made check-in super easy. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook proper meals – there was even a washing machine, which was really handy after long hiking days. All three bedrooms had their own en suite, plus there was a fourth toilet in the living area – very convenient! The beds were also really comfortable and the whole place felt spacious and peaceful. From the house, we did easy day trips to the Vršič Pass hikes, Lake Fusine just across the Italian border, Lake Jasna, Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, and the stunning trails accessed via the Vogel cable car and Velika Planina – all in just three days. It’s the perfect base if you want to explore the Julian Alps while staying somewhere peaceful and relaxing. There was free parking right by the property and Wi-Fi throughout the house, which made planning each day easy. The property was everything we hoped for and more. I’d recommend it without hesitation. An absolute gem.

Positive: It's a wonderful house if you're planning on exploring Triglav national park. It has everything, fully equipped kitchen, three baths, three balconies, it gets plenty of sun and it just generally a very nice space. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and do a good job with keeping the house clean and in good order. Would book here again for sure.

Negative: Gozd Martuljek is not much of a town with shops and all, more just nice houses along the road, so maybe keep that in mind when you book. You need a car.
