Positive: If you are in a car with the intent to tour the famous Soca River Valley, this very nice and big apartment is a great base. It is a large home on the side of a beautiful mountain above the Soca River with great views out over the Soca Valley and down into Kobarid. It is located a pleasant 5 kilometer drive up a scenic road paralleling the Soca River to a small hamlet called Libušnje. There are no services near the house, so we drove 8 to 10 minutes down to the center of Kobarid every night for dinner at one of the really good restaurants there. You can easily park your car in a private lot near the door of the house. The house consists of two apartments. We rented the one on the top floor and every morning woke up to an incredible view out over the valley and a church right below us. The apartment is big, newly renovated and very comfortable, Good TV and fast Wi-Fi. Fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Big whirlpool tub in a separate bathroom (but we did not use it). I would greatly prefer basing here in this quiet and beautiful place than in the middle of a town that is impossible to park in. We were there 4 nights and did road trips all over the Soca Valley. It was fantastic. The owner and host is Barbara. She lives near there and met us at the apartment and helped us get situated. She knows every inch of the Soca Valley and provided us great advice on where to go. We actually altered our plans for touring the Valley and Soca River based on her advice.

Positive: Loved everything about this gorgeous apartment. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and modern and had everything we needed. It is very remote so you definitely need a car to stay here, but I loved the fact that it was quiet and out of the way. Lovely big bath, nice balcony views, good air con. Just perfect. Soca river just a short drive away for some Lovely days out.

Negative: Not a fan of the feather pillows, but still slept ok

Summary: Amazing stay. Would have happily spent more than 4 nights here.

Positive: The accommodation was amazing—a whole house just for us. The kitchen and other rooms were super well-equipped. Two bathrooms, a toilet, a couch, a TV... Everything was spotlessly clean. The host was very pleasant, and communication was smooth. I highly recommend it!
