Summary: Electronic key box was not working after hours. That was a bit inconvenient waiting in the rain and cold. Luckily I had help from a staff member who was walking by

Summary: It's very basic, and its a bit of a pot-luck what room you get. In this case, we had a room downstairs at the back, which has open windows upon a street. Anyone walking by therefore can look inside the room which is not always the easiest. It would make sense, IOO, that windows are partially blinded out so it makes it 'feel' a bit more private. For the rest, location wise, its fantastic. We didn't have the breakfast, so I can't really comment on that part, but, we did find it a bit disconcerting that their key locker, in essence to be used after 20:30-21:00, can be used by anyone, because when we arrived, our names where displayed on an A4 above the key-lock box, with instructions how to open and extract key to the assigned room....

Summary: Much improved from our last stay which was in a “cosy” room. That was small with and uncomfortable bed. This luxury room was a good size with a much larger shower room. It was on the ground floor on the road and there was some noise at night but this was not a major problem. The new breakfast facilities were very good. We will stay there again.

Summary: Well appointed, clean and directly on a beautiful canal and easily walkable with lots of shops and restaurants. 12 minute walk to train station serving Amsterdam and their airport

Summary: We got the studio, which was a very spacious, new room, with fully equipped kitchen, which served us well. Room service cleaned our room, always refilled missing items without having to ask for example tissue papers. The staff was kind, being pregnant, I asked for a well-done omelette, and they made one for happily. Excellent breakfast with many options, pastries, and drinks. The hotel was close to the train station, as well as two major grocery stores. Easy transport to any place we needed. This was our second time, and we will definitely come again!
