Positive: We stayed for a week during October '23. A family of 4. Everything was great, we enjoyed the apartment, the cattle in our backyard, and of course, the great location. every major attraction we visited was at most 1-1.5 hour drive (usually less). you can park right next to the apartment and there's a nice supermarket just 10 minutes away (by car). Maria and Jan, the hosts, were super friendly and very accommodating. when our flight home was canceled, they went out of their way to try and help us with alternative accommodation since their vacation apartment was booked, so much so, that they suggested we stay in their own private home for a while. awsome people!

Negative: everything was great, no major complaints. there are some bugs around (it is very much "in nature stay") but the house has mosquito nets so not a big deal.

Positive: Beautiful setting outside Hilversum, very quiet. Everything that was need was provided with the property. Helpful host in Maria. Can recommend this option for sure.

Negative: The double bed was a smaller than what we are used to & mattress was a bit soft.
