Positive: We loved how quiet it was. Secluded. Tucked away, but still close enough for a quick run to the grocery store. Plenty of activities around to keep us busy. Biking. Hiking. Running. And I would imagine swimming but the water was way too cold while we were there. Gave us a grey chance to disconnect. Recharge our batteries and relax. We will def go back. And pass Helle Sonne on to friends that are trawling through the area.

Positive: Fabulous location in the mountains overlooking lake Maggiore. Great place to relax and take a break from the holiday crowds. Unique rustic accommodation with all amenities needed for a short stay. Great hosts who provided an interesting account of the area.
Negative: The road to the accommodation is quite long and windy, but perfectly safe if taken carefully.
Summary: Coming from Australia, this was an incredible opportunity to stay in a very old village
