Positive: Wow, just a perfect home with everything you might need. Apart from the perfect location 2 mins drive from beautiful beaches and its sweet balcony to chill, the home inside is just so cozy, clean, well organized and equipped with all you might need. I felt like visiting my parents home where everything is ready for me. Super spacious , beautiful ambience and relaxing place. Would recommend it and would like to visit it for more days. Mr Michalis is very kind and helpful, he even has left a bottle of wine for us. Just so perfect - Thanks for everything! See you again.

Positive: The building is in a small cluster of houses just up the hill from the beach. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully supplied with a bottle of wine and a few snacks, plus tea and coffee for the morning. The blackout shutters made the bedrooms very dark, and each bedroom has its own mini-split air conditioner. There’s a nice balcony, a TV, and an assortment of books. The manager was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived mid-morning, so he let us leave our luggage at the building until it was ready. He spoke a little English, which made things a lot easier for us, since we don’t speak any Greek. He even drove us to the Temple of Poseidon and to the airport for a reasonable fee. The nearest beach is a few minutes’ walk away. It has amazing, crystal clear water and a little stand that sells coffee and juice. It seemed to be occupied mainly by locals who knew each other. There wasn’t a lot of shade at the beach, so bring an umbrella or something if you can.

Negative: Other than the little beach, there is nothing within walking distance. If you have a car, that wouldn’t be a big deal at all, as there are restaurants and more beaches a short drive away. The area’s main attraction, the Temple of Poseidon, is about a 20 minutes’ drive away. (Side note: although the Temple doesn’t close until sunset, they stop letting people 20-30 minutes before that. We saw a bunch of people get turned away.) We didn’t rent a car, which really diminished our enjoyment of the area, as it was very hard to get around mid-day. That’s really my fault, though, and the property’s manager saved the day by driving us around for a reasonable fee.

Positive: Lovely and clean apartment with water view. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some treats. As seniors we appreciated the host helping us carry the baggage to the apartment. Host was always available to answer questions and provide recommendations.

Negative: It may be unfair to say this but I was tired of having to sleep in a twin bed during my month traveling around Greece. The second bedroom had twin beds. I knew that when I booked the apartment but my preference is a double bed.
