Summary: This is our third time staying at this property and we love it! The owner is responsive and very helpful. The home is comfortable, family friendly and the property is large, private and safe. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and swimming in the lake outlet which is a no wake zone. There is a train trestle which provides excitement every time a train goes by! The grocery store and pharmacy are just 5 min. away. We are already looking forward to next year!

Summary: The house was nice and surprisingly big. We enjoyed the row boat for fishing. The surrounding area had a lot to do. Overall great place to escape and relax!

Summary: We stayed at this beautiful property for 4 days/ 3nights. The property was very clean and had all the essentials needed for a stay. It was big enough for all us to have our own space and not feel cramped. We all had so much fun with the kayaks and peddle boat. Having the lake right outside made things so much easier. The kids didn't want to leave and were asking when will we return. The owner of this property is great, any questions we had he quickly replied back. This is one property we highly recommend and look forward to return next year.

Summary: Was another great stay. Many nights alone but most days my local families would visit. Everything u need and want is 2 miles away for cooking and entertaining my family. Fishing is fantastic, and again, thanks John for havind Steve take my family out. See ya next year.

Summary: Set on an isolated inlet on Kinderhook Lake, this property's setting is beautiful and private. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The hosts are friendly, responsive and generous. This was our second trip here and we hope to return again and again.

Summary: Great house. Roomy and well equipped. Great location. Sits right on the water while also having a large yard. Easy check in. Good communication with owner. Kayaks and a pedal boat are provided and were enjoyed by all. House is quite secluded . There is a picturesque stone railroad bridge and the passing trains were fun for the grandchildren. Everything was as advertised, four large bedrooms and two large bathrooms, laundry, well equipped kitchen. The living room has a large window looking out to the water. The dining table seats ten. A deer family would visit occasionally but were quite well behaved😁. Many birds provided a lyrical backdrop. We had a very enjoyable week.

Summary: This is our second stay at this property and we are already planning on returning next year! The house is spacious and comfortable for people of all ages. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and having a full size washer and dryer is a bonus. The river is shallow making it safe for children to swim and play. There is also a large yard for playing and relaxing. The property is tucked away from the road which adds to the safety and privacy. The kayaks and pedal boat provided by the owner are fun too! Trains cross the bridge frequently during the day and evening but they do not run at night. It is fun to anticipate what kind of train it will be and then count the cars. Our longest train this year had 4 engines and 153 cars! So exciting!
