Positive: The house is immaculate and all as presented in the photos. Communication from Agnes and Kate was great, we didn't have any problems checking in or during our stay. The appliances are all high end (Neff oven) and kitchen very well equipped. Rooms extremely comfortable with thoughtful touches such as extra blankets, several hairdryers and hot water bottles. We appreciated the wine on arrival! Lots of room for our group. Thank you and hope to return.

Negative: Nothing. The steep hill has been mentioned but Pitlochry is hilly either side of the main road, and you get nice views and peace and quiet from the garden.

Positive: We brought our own breakfast. The bedrooms were lovely, comfortable beds and plenty of room.

Negative: Instructions for kitchen equipment not clear. Only one bathroom for up to six people does not work. There is no where to put the towels in the bathroom or the bedrooms. I have used accommodation, all prices, but never been asked to strip the beds and leave for the cleaners!

Summary: Expected Luxury and did not get it.

Positive: Beautiful modern house which was well equipped and felt like a home. Brilliant.

Negative: Not much, but it is up a very steep hill which won’t suit everyone.

Positive: Beautifully clean and well presented with welcome gifts and great taste in decor. Comfortable seating and extremely spacious. Perfect location for us. Very well equipped.

Negative: The mattresses were memory foam which is a personal choice but we don't like them

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Heather House, and we will try to book this place anytime we visit Pitlochry in the future. I cannot recommend it highly enough! All the facilities were wonderful, beds comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped to make a fantastic new year's meal. All in all, a perfect place to stay!
