Positive: Our stay at Heartland Cottage in Ross Village, Tasmania, was one of the best we’ve ever had. What made it even more special was that the owner was staying on the same premises. We arrived after dark, and she kindly came out to welcome us and help us settle in, which we truly appreciated. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. When it was time to leave, the owner came to say goodbye, adding a warm and personal touch to our experience. It was a memorable stay, and we would highly recommend Heartland Cottage to anyone visiting the area.

Positive: Cooked breakfast was available for an extra fee but we did not use this service . The location was excellent . Walking trail into town from the property. Lots of wood available for the log fire to keep warm .
Negative: The only thing that did not suit us was the induction cooker , we are used to gas hobs .
Summary: We loved our 4 days at Heartland Cottage , great location , beautiful cottage and great hosts .

Positive: Location was brilliant, cottage was furnished and equipped very thoughtfully and comprehensively, the hosts helpful and friendly and on site. Also very good for someone who couldn't handle stairs at the time. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for self catering accommodation. Ross was interesting and beautiful and perfect as a base for touring around the Tasmanian Midlands.
Negative: We gave our hosts a few minor suggestions which they appreciated, relating only to minor issues of kitchen equipment
Summary: Very happy with our stay and would use Heartland Cottage again if the opportunity came up

Positive: Very cute cottage well set up for our overnight stay. The offer of a cooked breakfast and the fire ready to go was a lovely touch.
