Summary: The rented cabin room was simple but functional. It is located around 1 hours drive from the central areas in either Grand Teton NP or Yellowstone NP. The main issue with the Headwaters Lodge is value to price ratio, which I would say is terrible! Paying USD 350 per night for one person is normally only reserved to 5* hotels in mayor cities. The cabin had no refridgiator, no aircon, very basic interior and no breakfast included. Being located so far from the national parks make this pricing unbalanced. Unfortunately, other accomodations in this area are similarly priced.

Summary: The cabins are outdated, inconvenient if you have more luggage than a backpack, and not very clean. The tub fixtures in our cabin were rusty and the mosquitoes were terrible INSIDE the cabin. Like we killed ~30 inside. I walked barefoot after a shower from the bathroom to the other side of the cabin and my feet were black when I went to put my socks on. The price paid did not match the quality of the stay. The bright spot of our stay was the young lady that waited on us in the saloon, I believe she said her name was Avery. She was fantastic!

Summary: Nice cabin but wish they would have better advertised that there is no AC and TV. It wasn’t the end of the world, but would have been nice to know! Luckily it was pleasantly cool at night.

Summary: the hot water supply was not suffient for bathing of 3 people. The water became cool at the end of the bathing

Summary: The facility was okay. Our room was filled with mosquitos. Over 45 at least. We spent hours trying to kill them all. We asked the front desk for help, at least a fly swatter and or bug spray but they didn’t have one. A member of the staff let us borrow their own personal one. The window screens had a large gap where they were coming in. We told the staff and they just walked away from us. This is important because there is no air conditioning so you need to have the windows open for air. There was one small fan but it was really dirty.

Summary: The employee who checked us in was very nice, but couldn’t find our reservation. Fortunately, I had a picture with the confirmation number. We ended up in a handicap accessible cabin, which was fine, but totally unnecessary. It would have been nice to know that there was no tv or WiFi ahead of time. Mosquitos were the worse and flying insects were in the cabin. We had not encountered this during any other part of the trip. The dining room staff was very nice, but it was a very long wait after our order was taken. Food was ordinary and overall,,nothing to write home about. The total experience from the cabin to the restaurant was overpriced, and we wouldn’t stay there again.

Summary: We stayed in two separate cabins, each with two queen beds. One had microwave and fridge, one did not. Mentioning there is no TV which was fine for us! Showers were hot. We did not try the restaurant, but family did go to the 7 pm smores/ talk/ meet and greet and enjoyed that benefit. The area across from the lodge must have been in a recent fire, but it stopped there and the campground and other parts of the hotel and cabins were wooded. Unfortunately, and uncontrollable were the mosquitos that swarmed us in the evening, so be sure to bring bug spray.
