Positive: We really enjoyed staying at Hazel House altogether as a family. It had a homey feel to it and we really felt at home. It was nice and clean, comfortable, well decorated and perfect for a family stay. The living room and dining room had plenty of space for everyone to sit together. All the facilities were fine. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with a few essentials. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils (there was some sauces in the fridge too for anyone that wanted them, and coffee and sugar was available but looked out of date so we bought and used our own). The beds were all very comfortable with nice bedding. The sofa bed was surprisingly big and quite comfortable for sitting and sleeping. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a house that feels like home!

Negative: Overall we were very happy with our stay. However, if the weather was warmer we would have appreciated the garden being tidier and a table to enjoy a morning coffee outside or lunch in the sun, which was not the case as the garden was heavily overgrown. Also, one thing to note (if you have difficulty with climbing stairs) is that the steps are quite high and can be difficult to climb. Finally, having a driveway would have made our stay perfect as although on street parking was mostly available, it was sometimes difficult to find late at night. Personally, none of these things impacted our stay that much but others may appreciate knowing.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay!

Positive: Great family home feel, Morden interior design late check out, which we didn't utilise as we had to leave earlier

Negative: no driveway to park, only street parking, which was a bit of a challenge for my husband, who was on crutches. the damage on the cooker, which the owner mentioned he was in the process of fixing it, we ordered out, which was OK! back garden, no fence on the right and needing landscaping work. I believe the owner is still doing some work on the property. Once done, this will look great 👍🏾
