Positive: location was spot on .Far enough away from any noise or air polution but at the same time not to much of a long drive to leek for food top up.Great location.

Negative: To be completley honest the wasnt anything we didnt like.

Summary: cottage was better then we expected as was the location.

Positive: Everything , location ,clean ,comfortable great host, lots of walks super facilities for the dogs including private secure garden.

Negative: Could have done with a washing machine if staying longer but that’s all

Positive: We have stayed here previously, love the location and the views the property brings. It’s a lovely converted barn, the girls love, going to the rocks, there are trail walks like luds church you can start straight from the door step. Barn comes with its own private garden which was brilliant for our younger autistic daughter to run around and be safe as it was fenced and gated off. We went to Matlock to do the steam train one day, and a day at the peak wildlife park, which the kids loved. Still be staying again next year.

Negative: Maybe a newer version on tv, but that purely so our disabled daughter could watch her routine shows in the evening. My other children weren’t bothered.

Positive: The location of the cottage is lovely, perfect for walks. It is a fairly big property, so plenty of room to spread out. The owner Jane, is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. The local pub is within walking distance, so good if you want to have a drink and leave the car at the cottage you can, just remember to take a torch for the walk back.

Positive: We loved our stay in the old converted barn. Such a beautiful location being on its own but close enough to nearby pubs and villages. There are some really good local rocks to have bolder and walk round 5 mins from where we stayed. The barn is quite big, well spaced out, really comfy sofas and beds. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay here again if we wanted to visit the Peak District. This place is very close to the Rouches which is great for rock climbing. Some lovely pubs around with a good selection of real ales.
