Positive: Can’t recommend this Hostal enough if you’re staying in this area. The food is absolutely amazing and reminded us of Home in the Western world with good coffee and good bread and bacon. Facilities are as expected and the rooms are very characterful can get a little hot but a fan is provided. The staff and the host are probably the best we’ve come across and super helpful.

Positive: Central, friendly workers.

Negative: There are no mosquito-nets and no AC (only very loud ventilator). At the same time it is super warm, so we had to sleep with the open windows and were eaten up by mosquitos. Apart from that our window faced a courtyard with a bar and the music played there at least till 2am, so it was hard to fall asleep. Also there are no night-tables next to the beds and no trashcan in the room, which is not practical.

Positive: The location was brilliant and the bed was comfortable with plenty of bedding.

Negative: The shared toilet was not clean at all which was quite unpleasant. Also the lock was slightly funny on the door and had a bit of a trick to close it so I didn't feel entirely secure or relaxed.

Positive: The man at reception (sadly we didn’t get his name) was really nice and helpful (thank you!). The room had everything you needed and the full length window into the courtyard was very nice. The breakfast was in another place but we didn’t mind the short walk, and the breakfast itself was really nice (freshly made juice, nice bread, eggs, coffee etc) on a terrace with a new view of the oasis and dunes. The location was good and there was a nice restaurant and cafe either side. For the price with the breakfast it was good value.

Negative: One of the beds was abit springy but nothing too bad. There was only one bathroom with shower and toilet in the same room but I never had to wait too long to use it as it’s not a big place with lots of rooms.

Summary: Comfortable stay, good value for money, nice breakfast and very nice staff.
