Positive: This is a wonderful chalet - life in the village is super! There is a shop very close - which opens very early! Opposite the house there are paths along which you can walk - even walk to a cafe which is in the forest on a hill!

Positive: The house was ideal for a group of 5 friends who wished to stay together, yet be somewhat independent. The location of the house offered a great flexibility in winter activities we could engage in. The communal living room was a perfect place for socializing. The house has a smart layout that everyone has a privacy and there is even enough space for storing of skis.

Negative: One point of improvement could be some additional equipment in the kitchen. It would be great to have some mitts. Additionally, the toilet pump was rather loud, but the sound disappeared after a couple if minutes, so it is not disturbing overall.

Summary: perfect place for going cross-country skiing or skiing, cozy, functional and spacious.

Positive: The location of the cottage is ideal for exploring the area. Tauplitzalm, Hallstadt, and even Salzburg are close by. The house and the kitchen are very well equipped, according to the pictures, everything corresponds to reality. The host is very kind and communicative. Although the house is located next to a busy main road, due to the noise insulation, we didn't notice any of this - except when we had dinner on the terrace.

Negative: Actually, there were two things that were a little negative for us during our stay there. One is that there are no mosquito nets on the windows and quite a few naughty flies stayed with us in the accommodation. The other negative for us: the bed mattresses were very soft.

Summary: Perfectly recommended accommodation for explorers of the area Salzkammergut - dogs are also welcome.

Negative: A totally unfriendly neighbour, only looking after his rabbit hutches behind his house. The two houses had no fence in between, hence every time he went out of his door, he was just a 10 metres away of our window. We would recommend to put at least some hedge in between.
