Positive: I had a wonderful stay. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, gave me lots of recommendations (helped me plan my itinerary) and were patient whilst I practiced my Spanish. I felt at home :) The breakfast each morning was tasty and they prepared a sandwich/fruit juice to take if I had an early tour. The rooms are comfortable, good hot water pressure in the shower, and it was pretty tranquil. Easy to walk from the hotel to the centre of town (~20mins) where you can find restaurant, shops, etc. Huaraz is a very safe city, I felt comfortable walking at night too. I would not hesitate to recommend you to stay here, and hope to return one day!
