Positive: Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Pretty room in the lodge with excellent views and privacy. The reception staff were really accommodating when we twice added on extra nights.
Negative: A fridge in the room would have been nice especially in this hot weather. Sometimes we only had one hand towel between us and only one small bottle of water. But these are minor niggles
Summary: Four nights fantastic respite from a disastrous house move nearby.

Positive: It's a very pretty building Breakfasts food was ok. Bed was comfortable.
Negative: We were placed in the Lodge. Got dropped off at reception and were then told that our room was a 4 minute walk back up the driveway (with our luggage) No offer of help and we are both retired. Could have been raining. Staff were not helpful. There is no fridge in the room.

Negative: Seemed like it needed a good maintenance, bathroom especially. Didn’t feel it had a good clean for a while! Room was next to industrial size extractor fans, would’ve been nice to be informed as it certainly didn’t help during higher temps with open windows - no air conditioning, which wasn’t an issue but the noise was on the louder side.
