Positive: Very clean. Homely and comfortable. Felt straight at home. Kitchen was excellent. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Slept well. Location was superb. Centre of the village. Great views Absolutely loved the front terrace and seating. Weather was good spent a lot of time sitting in the sun.

Negative: Parking at the back was impossible. No space. Not marked Harriet’s cottage. Had to ask someone for directions But the lay-by in front was OK for parking. The front door was difficult to find. Instructions could be better. Only

Summary: Only booked for 4 days. Wish I’d stayed the full week. Or two.

Positive: Excellent location..cottage outstanding...clean... everything you want it was there..beds really comfortable and waking up to the birds song

Negative: The pub next door...went for a drink and got told by the arrogant landlord we shut at 10pm be quick.

Positive: Cosy cottage in the heart of the village. Pub, shop and tea room literally on the doorstep. The cottage was well appointed. Lovely and warm, with a good sized kitchen with plenty of equipment, utensils to cook a hearty meal. Spoilt for choice with walking options from the cottage. All in all an idyllic location for a Dales holiday.

Negative: Bath taps could do with some attention, but a minor issue which didn't affect the overall quality of the holiday.

Positive: Harriet’s Cottage is cosy & comfortable with the most wonderful views. It has everything you could possibly need. It’s location is excellent with fabulous walks from the door as well as easy scenic drives to the likes of Hawes & Reeth. I have stayed at Harriet’s previously & several times at Lilac Cottage next door. Perfect place to relax.
