Positive: 1) tent in a room sounds interesting and nice and offer privacy too. Four tents in the room so it is not as crowded. The bed is amazingly comfortable. 2) free breakfast is an advantage, free tea & coffee are great, kitchen is fully functional. Bathroom and toilet just one, but they work beautifully. Free washing machine is another great point. 3) friendly host and hard working people to keep this place tidy and clean

Negative: 1) location is a bit off if people want to base here to visit Okayama. But it is 45mins walk to Uno port for island hopping. About 15mins walk to nearest supermarket. But there is a good udon shop nearby and 7-11. 2) squeaky floor and door as they are old house, so involuntarily making noise when trying to be quiet. Kitchen area a bit cramp with dining together, so when there are more than 3 people it gets awkward. 3) maybe can offer hangers in tent room so we don’t have to hang our clothes at the curtain ledge.

Positive: One train station away from UNO port and all the inland sea islands. In a peaceful village with good local bus connections. Very friendly family who do their best to help. Thanks for the breakfast!

Negative: It’s a new hostel so there are a few minor things to fix. Some clothes hanging space in the rooms would be good. The tatami sliding doors need some oil, and so do some of the floorboards.. but it is excellent value for money, there is nothing to complain about.

Summary: Good atmosphere, good location, good price!
