Summary: What a fabulous place to vacation in Abergavenny. The location is perfect, on a quiet street a few minutes walk from the High street, the castle ruins, and Linda Vista gardens/castle meadows. I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (assorted sized serving bowls, knives, beautiful mugs and dishes, etc) as I was there for a week. The host responded quickly to my inquiries (use his email from the confirmation email and not the Vrbo message link) before and during my stay and I would definitely stay here again. A note: this was the first time I paid a host directly and not through Vrbo so that was a bit of a surprise.

Summary: Fully stocked with extras one wouldn't have expected. Cleaning material of all sorts; shampoos and conditioner etc in the bathroom; tea, coffee, sugar and other condiments in the kitchen.... excellent.

Summary: The cottage is very central and in walking distance to the shops and market. The house was clean and warm, with a well equipped kitchen and a powerful shower. Would benefit from softer towels , and the front door needs attention, as we had difficulty opening and closing it. However enjoyed the stay and the house benefits from private parking .
