Positive: Stayed in early April, so the on-site restaurant wasn't open. We were picked up from the port (our boat arrived very early one morning) and dropped at the port (again early in the morning) when we left, which was excellent. The Harama is a 20 minute walk into the main town and a similar distance from 2 lovely beaches. We loved the quiet of Schinoussa, the friendliness of the locals, and the fantastic view from our hotel balcony.

Positive: The location is good short 1km walk to a nice beach with some shade and a 1.5km walk onto town. Good for walking off dinner.
Negative: Unfortunately staff shortages meant that the restaurant wasn't open until 4pm. Breakfast not really available nor a drink if arriving back from the beach early. The dinner menu was also restricted. It's a shame because we like this place. Hopefully they'll be fully staffed next year.

Positive: Incredible views of sea and countryside. Comfortable bed. Huge terrace. Nice food. Transport from/ back to port.
Negative: Next door studio bathroom window opened onto our terrace. ( ours opened onto the next one down) No kettle, just a tiny one-cup electric jug. Nothing to protect the wooden shelf when making tea/ coffee.
Summary: Gem in beautiful countryside.

Positive: Lovely staff. Stephanie was always friendly and helpful. Our waiter Nikos was fabulous. We stayed five nights and ate at the restaurant every night. Lovely home cooked food!
