Take it easy at this unique charming & tranquil getaway on Hanks Farm! This renovated 1930s bungalow with en-suite bedrooms w/2 baths on the main floor sleeps 5. You will have a king bedroom with a large walk in closet, and a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed and an en-suite bathroom. Enjoy cooking and entertaining with ease in the large dining room, comfy living room & deck. Have fun outdoors -firepit, rocking chair front porch, land to run/play with the kids & fur babies! Just 20 min to downtown, 5 min drive to shops, gas & groceries! Come getaway on Hanks Farm! Events are limited to up to 40 people. The events must be approved and an event fee will be charged.
Types of events approved are small events such as graduation parties, birthday parties ( children birthday parties are discretionary ) retirement parties, work meeting/ retreats, reveal parties, baby showers, & bridal showers! ****We have tents, chairs, and tables, coolers, and trash cans that can be added on for a small rental fee for set up and breakdown.
Event fee will be as follows:
2 night minimum stay required on weekends with approved event fee :
6 to 10 people $250 event fee
11-20 people $500 event fee
21-30 people $750 event fee
31-40 people $1000 event fee

Summary: We did not get to stay at this gorgeous property because I end up getting very the day we were supposed to travel. She was so nice and gracious. Definitely going back and hopefully soon!

Summary: Hanks Farm is a charming cottage with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The furnishings are fun and comfortable. The kitchen is fairly large with lots of counter space and the dining room table is large enough for 8. This is a great getaway home for up to 2 couples and 3 kids. The deck and yard are very nice with a lawn and a cute outbuilding. You definitely get a cool historic vibe. We appreciated the cleanliness and roominess of this home. Stacy, our host, maintained excellent communication both before and during our stay. We had a great time and we would definitely come back!

Summary: We really enjoyed staying here for the weekend. The house was very clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and we spent a lot of time on the porch and deck.

Summary: We live about 2 hours from Falls Lake and we were looking for a place that was outside of Raleigh and close enough to make our Saturday morning easy. This location was perfect. Only 3 miles from the boat ramp we used for our boats and while the guys were out fishing, the girls were able to ride into Raleigh and shop for the day! We loved staying here and recommend 10/10 times!
