Escape to nature in this one of a kind handcrafted cabin! Travel the European style switchback drive and take in panoramic views of Mt Washington. Constructed of logs & stones harvested from the property, the open plan is a unique romantic getaway or extended "workation". Located just a few miles from downtown Littleton shops, brewery & restaurants - this cabin is a perfect base to explore the many activities of the White Mountain National Forest-hiking, biking, golf, fishing and more.
The cabin shares a driveway and large yard and gardens with the main house. Wildlife includes: deer, moose, birds, bobcats, bears on occasion. Please do not leave any food outside as it will attract wildlife. Please note the driveway is long and steep- cars with 4WD, FWD and good tires will have no problem getting up in the warm months however in the winter months the driveway can be slippery- those adventurers who are willing to park in a lower lot and get a shuttle up are welcome in the winter. Kitchen with two burner cook top, new oven, and full size fridge freezer. Kitchen has spices, coffee and tea, napkins, etc.
There is a raspberry patch that provides abundant fruit in season as well as a number of apple trees. We encourage you to try a few!

Summary: My wife and I picked this place based on the charming pictures & location as the final leg on our 2 year anniversary trip to New Hampshire. It is even more charming and cozy in person. The view of the mountains in the distance from the bed was especially pleasant to wake up to. The house has a nicely provisioned kitchen for cooking meals next to the indoor fireplace, and an outdoor fire pit, with plenty of dry wood for both. The Berkey water filter in the kitchen is one of the many thoughtful touches about the place. While the cottage is only a hundred yards or so from the main house, you can barely see it, so it feels very private. Communication & check in is as easy as it gets, and while we could have remained contact-free we usually like to meet the host. Sue came by with some fresh baked cookies & home grown produce! Without rambling on too much, I can say that this is the ideal place for a romantic couple's getaway. Sue truly captures the concept of Hygge.

Summary: This is the most unique and Beautiful, clean VRBO we have ever stayed in. We have stayed in numerous VRBO’s. Sue and Tom were exceptional hosts! This property overlooked the beautiful white mountains! We will strongly recommend this property to our friends and family! We hope to come back someday and stay here for a longer period of time.

Summary: Beautiful view of the white mountains. Very special unique handcrafted cabin. The spiral staircase to the bedroom and bath would be a challenge for some. We loved the peaceful and private location. Perfect for a wind down from the daily grind. We spent an afternoon a short drive away walking and shopping in the little shops. Would love to go back sometime.

Summary: This cabin sits at the end of a long driveway that opens up to a rewarding view of the mountains. The cabin and its furniture are beautifully crafted from local wood. From the arched "Hobbit" doors to the carved banister on the spiral stairs, every inch of this place speaks of care and craftsmanship.The owners, who live in the main house on the property, were gracious and generous. We have enjoyed many Vrbo properties over the years, and this is one of our favorites. We will be back!

Summary: The journey up the long driveway gets you to a beautiful hilltop log cabin. Very peaceful. Less than 10 minute drive to downtown Littleton. We loved our stay.

Summary: We fell in love with this property & delighted in eating breakfast while taking in the view of the mountains. In the evening we spotted fireflies & watched rainstorms pass by. This cottage was built by loving hands & is cared for by loving hands. We didn't want to leave & brought our meals back to the cottage rather than go out. Super charming cottage & hosts. The only drawbacks were the driveway & the staircase - both of which were curvey & steep. We hope to stay again soon!

Summary: This is amazing place! The view of Mt. Washington was beautiful. The grounds are well kept. It's all just like the pics listed. The ONLY negative was they did not agree to adopt me! I love this place, the hosts were available but not intrusive at all. They are wonderful people. I can't recommend any higher! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
