Summary: The front desk clerks are the huge drawback in this hotel. I’ve been to numerous hotels in Japan. I did communicate via apps without having any difficulties. But, at this hotel, I feel unwelcome and rushed through the process even though there was no one waiting behind. I don’t think it is the language barrier. It is lack of training or lack of willingness to host foreign tourists.

Summary: The onsen was great although I never figured out how to reach the one on the 7th floor. The izakayas nearby were really good!

Summary: Excellent property in the hot spring district. Right next to public transportation ( train ). In house hot spring was very good, breakfast and traditional Japanese seafood dinner were excellent as well. Would happily come back.

Summary: Amazing hotel, you can enjoy the traditional side of Japan with great hot springs in traditional clothing or eat delicious meals on a high quality level. Most of the staff speaks and understands English very well. One of our most rememberable nights on our 3 weeks tour through Japan.
