Summary: Our beds were not made daily or vacuumed. We had to ask for towels. We had to take our luggage cart to our rooms. They didn’t do that for us called a couple times for my car to be brought around wasn’t there when I said it would be. After spending $1000 for three nights they actually charge me $40 to park my car in Val.

Summary: I have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns over the past decade and have seen a general deterioration in the chain, overall. But this property must be one of the oldest. Everything needs updated. And there was a gob of human hair stuck to the bathroom wall when we arrived. Housekeeping cleaned it up and scrubbed the tub but it made us wonder what other cleaning had been shortcut. On top of that, the $40 per day charge for parking is outrageous. I would not recommend this Hampton in Portland.

Summary: Front desk very responsive and friendly. Hotel within walking distance to restaurants and shops, nice promenade walk as well. While it was unfortunate that I experienced a drunken neighbor attempting to enter my room, front desk immediately responded and solved the problem. Aside from that, good hotel.

Summary: This Hotel is a regular stop on our way up to go skiing. It’s centrally located so you can get to all that there is in the waterfront area. It’s very clean and the service is very good. Their breakfast is quite good and the options change from day to day.
