Summary: We arrived very late and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. After a very long day, it was a relief to walk into a room that was pristine and to take a hot shower in a well-appointed bathroom. Breakfast was delicious as was the much-desired coffee. We didn't make either of the two types of waffles, though they both looked yummy and opted instead for some yogurt, blueberry scones, and eggs. Check out was easy and if I'd needed to stay another night, I wouldn't have been sad.

Summary: Terrific choice. Great breakfast. Lots of seating. Very nice and comfortable room. Staff extra helpful and friendly with a welcome attitude.

Summary: Guest room was in good condition and clean. Bathroom did not have a bath tub. Staff was fine . Gym was a nice bonus . Breakfast had a good variety.

Summary: This place has everything I tend to look for in an overnight stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was nicely updated with good water pressure in the shower, the place was quiet during the night, and I love to see bacon and eggs for breakfast!

Summary: We were very pleased with out choice of the Hampton Inn in Mchenry. Every staff member that we encountered was very professional, pleasant and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and had everything to make our stay totally enjoyable. The breakfast was a definite highlight for us. The variety and selection of items exceeded our expectations. We began each of our 3 mornings with a very satisfying breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
