Positive: Overall, the accommodation was what I expected and what I wanted.

Negative: Just a few quibbles - The limited kitchenette was fine for a short stay. The absence of a kitchen sink meant that I had to wash dishes etc in the bathroom. Absence of a dishcloth made this a little inconvenient. Provision of normal condiments was basic, e.g. no pepper, salt. I purchased both and left them in the unit for the use of future guests. The absence of a usable table and chair for eating was a particular negative. The small occasional table provided was very unstable and its collapse under normal use led to the breakage of a wine glass. I would recommend that the units be equipped with a proper table and chair for meals.

Summary: A very enjoyable stay but guests should be aware that the advertised kitchenette is very limited

Positive: The room was clean and comfortable and it was a good location for some of the places we wanted to visit nearby. Scarlett was very friendly and helpful when we checked in.

Negative: The bathroom window didn’t close properly and some unwanted ‘bugs’ came in. The kitchenette was very basic compared to other places we’ve stayed. A washing up bowl would be really useful as washing up needs to be done in the bathroom sink.

Summary: Lovely, quiet location a short drive away from amenities

Negative: No internet and no staff around or responding to messages. Property dark and had to use phone light to see way to cabin.

Negative: Room dirty in places. Shower, dirty blinds, dirty around the bathroom door. Web site: we were expecting dinning room to be opened.

Positive: Loved the log-fire and hot-tub. Was cold on the mountain but the accommodation was lovely and warm. The local pub was rustic and amazing, St Bernards. The decor and bed very modern and comfy.

Negative: Could hear the couple next door through the connecting door. Poor sound-proofing.

Summary: We would definitely stay again but perhaps in the summer :-)

Positive: The pillows were big , hard and heavy and we could not use them as pillows, There was plenty of room so why not a queen or king bed? no heating in the bathroom (ie heat lamps) water pressure was non existent, I opted for no shower,

Negative: Having a Queen or King bed, not many place have a double for a couple a bit too small
