Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The place is very special and peaceful. With fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, comfortable beds, very quiet - warm and cosy. We received very clear instructions regarding everything... The place is a bit challenging to spot (we arrived long after dark), but once we were there it felt right at home.

Negative: The two additional rooms are located on the second floor and the steps are quite steep. Teenagers and adults should manage just fine.

Positive: The House was situated perfekt for our needs. We used it as base for our tours on Iceland. We slept well and had breakfast in the house.

Positive: The accommodation was great. If you are looking for absolute solitude and privacy, then this place is ideal. A well-lit house with a constant view of nature, a well-equipped kitchen. Most of South Iceland's attractions within driving distance for day trips. We enjoyed coming back to the cozy house every day. The owner is very nice and provided us with very helpfull detailed instructions for using the house that made our stay much easier and we were also allowed to use some of their food if we needed to (we came fully equiped with our own food and ingredients, so we didn´t need that, but there was this option which felt really nice). We fully recommend this accommodation, you will actually feel like at home and there is nothing you will not like about it.

Negative: The access road is gravel for about the last two kilometers, otherwise nothing.
