Positive: Exceptionally clean, very comfortable, excellent location in a quiet but accessible to everything part of Insadong. And the heated floors were fantastic for our winter visit.

Negative: Walls are paper thin—we heard every cough, sneeze and domestic dispute of our fellow guests. Also room 3 doesn’t have any windows that provide a view. The room was well lit but we did miss having access to natural light.

Positive: What I loved about this property was that it was in the quieter part of town, but it was still convenient to transportation and local areas! We either walked around, or took the bus that dropped us off 2 minutes away! The one time we needed an uber, they had no issues getting to us! Secondly, it was exactly what we were looking for as far as the Hanok experience! It was lovingly and beautifully renovated! Everything we needed was in that room! There’s no TV in the room (but that’s the least of my worries when vacationing). We never stayed long enough in the room to warrant being bored enough to turn on a TV. We ate in the room, slept, wrote on our journals, showered and that was it! The rest of the time we were out and about exploring. Thirdly, the little details that might have been missed but I absolutely appreciated. The shower had full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash (which smelled amazing). There was a toothbrush kit by the sink. There were baby wipes, face masks and little things (ear plugs too) by the sink as well. There were lots of hangers for your clothes. They had indoor slippers and outdoor slippers available for you. There were two different types of pillows depending on your preference. Coffee and tea was readily available in the common area. Towels were thick and not the thin ones.

Negative: The walls within the property were thin, which is expected. There was another guest that had their alarm go off and they didn’t turn it off so it went off for about 30 minutes in the morning. That is probably the only thing I can think of. Is that you would hear other guests come in and out which is fine unless you’re a light sleeper m.

Summary: Charming Hanok Experience that we will absolutely do again!

Positive: A unique (historical) building to stay in. Has all necessary amenities for comfortable stay. Would definetly recommend!

The hotel itself is very charming, designed like a traditional Hanok, which made the experience feel authentic and cozy. Although there is no staff on-site, communication was quick and efficient whenever needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and all amenities worked well, including the air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The bathroom had good water pressure and hot water. The small kitchenette area includes a mini fridge, microwave, and electric kettle, which is convenient for heating up food, though there are no utensils or cookware for cooking. Overall, everything was comfortable and well-maintained, and I would definitely stay here again.

Negative: No complaints. Suggestion: a wall hanger in the bathroom would be good.

Positive: It’s a cute accommodation, located conveniently close to public transport and some major attractions. It’s in a quiet street, with not much going on. It’s nice to stay in a traditional Korean style building. The room was clean. Not big, but room enough for me (i was alone). It had everything i needed. It’s easy to communicate with the staff on Booking. I didn’t see anyone however.

Positive: Clean, authentic, and comfortable. Staff were great and the area was quiet. Price wise, it's a steal.

Negative: The only slight issue is the water pressure for the shower. They fixed it on the first day, but sometimes it would come in and out. Still perfectly able to have a shower, though, so it's not a major issue.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay! The l9cation is great - close to the airport bus stop and subway and major attractions yet quite and cozy. We arrived early morning, I had a tired child and luggage and it was pouring rain. We were able to check in early at short notice. That was super nice! The place looked sparkling clean, like it was all new! It had everything we needed, including umbrellas! Please realize that this is an ancient dwelling, so it is not noise insulated, so it's important to be quiet and respectful. It was helpful for me to bring ear plugs. I wish we had the bed on the floor like in the olden days, yet we still had great rest. Oh, and the Bonus - your pwn bathroom in the room! Not every Hanok has that! We loved the video instructions about the location of the place! Again, thank you very much, and we will stay with you again in the future!

Negative: The pillows were a bit hard but once we asked for the soft ones, they were provided immediately.
