Positive: Rooms were cosy and better than we expected. Pool was amazing and we spent quite some time just relaxing next to it. Restaurant was very nice with decent selection of dishes. We did a birding tour and guide Juan Carlos was very experienced and professional. We walked some trails and they also exceed our expectations as we have seen lots of birds, monkeys and even peccaries. Staff is just amazing! My mum suddenly had red and swollen feet and they drove us to Dominical to see the doctor (fortunately it was just a bad sunburn!) Marino Bellena National Park is just 25 mins drive away. We would really recommend it for a day trip. Just check the tides before going there, you would need to be there during low tide to get to the whale's tail.

Negative: The only thing I can think of absence of air-conditioning. We knew about this when we made booking, so this is not a complaint. There has been 3 fans in the room, which was absolutely enough for me. However, my mum who is 64 was struggling with the heat. Something for you to be aware of.

Negative: The cooking facilities were not very good,very small area and vv hot.

Positive: Nature wraps around the property. The trails were well done and varied wildlife was seen. Room was clean and quiet. Dinner was quite good.

Negative: There is no air conditioning but a large fan was provided.
