Positive: Excellent location on shark bay to see fish, turtles, sharks when snorkelling straight from the beach. Friendly staff. Good size pools and outdoor showers for after the beach. Beach houses were nicely finished in dark wood, felt luxurious, with mosquito net attractively draped over the bed, and plenty of space in them. Gardens are well maintained and attractive. The free kayaks and paddle boards were great.

Negative: We didn't eat in the resort - it looked expensive and prior reviews led us to believe the quality wasn't commensurate. However the location of the dining looked great, and the breakfast (included in the room rate for us) was good. The eating areas are well decorated. The rustic rooms had lots of air gaps for mosquitoes -maybe why the net was provided. The general standard of maintenance and cleanliness was just not commensurate with a 4* expensive place - staff repeatedly walked past litter, rooms had little things broken. Not a big deal, but not for example what we have experienced in turkey and other places which were immaculate.

Positive: The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at, the views and beach are so amazing and everything is so picturesque especially the pool. The breakfast was perfect every morning.

Negative: We chose the castaway villa from the pictures and Idea of being right on the beach, our villa was beautiful however not on the beach like the others therefore slightly disappointed. The food at the restaurant was extremely expensive and not amazing, it would be much better if the shuttle was more frequent and offered pick up as well as the drop off, not ideal having to book it the day before either - not very flexible.

Positive: Whole resort was a great island vibe very laid back with good facilities and fantastic snorkeling at the beach (turtles)

Negative: The main pool was closed due to renovations which was not disclosed when booking. Didn't kill the holiday but would have made it that little better. Given this was shit I thought they should have extended the happy hour to the other pool area or had some sort of compensation in place

Summary: Would definitely stay again great resort which my family had a really enjoyable holiday

Positive: The beach has two residents turtles and its a must for snorkling. Boats from outside come to the beach, while if you stay here, you can have the beach for yourself.

Negative: It's a lot of money per day, though the place is amazing. The beach could have more organization among groups that come on the boats out from the hotel. A very sad event occur during our stay, when one person got lost while snorkling and got picked up uncounscious from without breathing. The hotel provided a very quick response with an ambulance entering the hotel, but again the tours entering the beach should have more staff on the water boats and surveillance in the water. Be aware of the danger while swimming without life saving vest as it can be easy to get lost from the boats or your group.

Positive: The location is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate the restaurant food was fair it felt like apart from the pizzas it was pre-made, the pizza very nice. The pool clean and several of them. Beach very clean .

Negative: The hotel advertises as a 4 star which comes with certain standards. We stayed in the beach villas one of the most expensive yet the room was extremely tired, while the sheets were clean they were stained, the mosquito net was heavily stained with blood and a yellow substance. The curtain which surrounded the hanging area was ripped badly and looked like a rag hung up etc. this was quietly mentioned to the reception who said they would pass on. While the surround's are beautiful I would not recommend in future I would probably stay somewhere else and visit as a day tripper as you can use the toilets, restaurants and bars. There is a small bar next to to Capri restaurant nothing to do with hotel that you can wade to does fabulous spring rolls and cheap.

Positive: The beach, the breakfast, the location and the rooms and the way the hotel was built are fantastic. It’s a beautiful place and the hotels blends and hide in the scenery. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Rooms are good but could be better for that price.

Negative: No one was waiting for us and helped to take our luggage to reception when we arrived. It’s was a bit slippery and would have been nice to have someone to help. No welcoming drink as it usually happens in hotels. Staff in ge eral could be more friendly and helpful.

Summary: One of the best hotels in the island.
