Positive: Amazing place, with gorgeous rooftop decks with 360 views of the island and amazing spot to enjoy sunrise and sunset. The location is most convenient for access to the Haleakala observatory as well. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and caring and it is very visible how they put a lot of effort in making their place look and feel like a welcoming home and not just an average short stay rental.

Positive: Steve and Diane are excellent hosts. They greeted us, oriented us to the area, and were readily available and responsive to all of our questions and needs. Their home is located in a very pleasant area, high enough to get out of the high humidity of the rest of the island and pretty much as close as you can get to the entrance of Haleakala. We thank Steve and Diane for a very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay again if in the area.

Negative: Stairs need to be accessed for the sleeping area. While not a problem for us, it needs to be noted in case it is a problem for others. Steve was very helpful I. Moving suitcases up and down the stairs
