Positive: Location was great. Everything is within walking distance.

Negative: I booked the room for 1 week. Family of 5 with 4 towels. I called for extra towel and it didn't turn up. There is a swimming facility, but guess what you have wash n dry your towel. "That's why you have a washing machine n dryer" they say. Like we planned to stay in the room to wait for dry towels everyday. Be nice to have 2 towels per person so we can enjoy our holiday. Shower needs exit mould, dirty. Room due for a carpet clean. I paid for cleaning but there was an expectation to have all surfaces wiped and rubbish removed in order to get your refund. Oh and we only had 1 key. So we couldn't go separate ways. Due to the lifts issue. 3 lifts but only 2 worked which means 20 to 30 min wait to get into one. Sheets had stains so not sure if it was even changed.

Positive: The hotel room was awesome. We live in Christchurch, New Zealand so it was nice to experience something totally different. Our three boys love it too. When we first turned up the room wasn't the right configuration so once we called, a more suitable room was found for us promptly. Turned out great.

Negative: It felt like there were some key things missing from the room, we were provided a coffee plunger which was great, but we couldn't find a can opener.

Summary: Great views, happy children, awesome hotel

Positive: Nice central location, safe and secure parking and a beautiful outlook with clean linen etc.

Negative: We booked 2x large doubles + 2x singles but were provided with 3x double beds. When we let them know, they told us this was the apartment configuration and no spare bed option. I advised we specifically book months in advance to have a 2x large double and 2x single beds. Then they realised they were in the wrong, but still unable to help sort this. We were only offered an airbed for the 6th bed, which we could barely fit in the room (jammed between the other bed and wall) and had to make ourselves. We booked in April for a June holiday. This was less than satisfactory and I do not believe an airbed makes up for the amount we paid. I was told they were fully booked and no other rooms were available when I rang to sort this. Our bath/shower had no shower door (broken/missing only short glass returns on each end) and the water went all over the floor. There was no plug for the bath, so we had to purchase one. There was no dishbrush or cloth for the kitchen. We purchased these instead; these should be included for use. The oven had no oven trays and only tinfoil on the shelves, which would blow around on fan bake - a hazard and pointless. The buttons are worn off for temperature and mode. They were unreadable and no manual to help us try to guess what was meant to be what, so just trial and error. The provided wifi network was unavailable, luckily I could figure out which TP Link modem connection it was meant to say and tried the password on it until we found the correct network that worked. The sink plug was dirty with hair and fat on the underside. There were also dry noodles and dust on the kitchen floor in front of the pantry and in the lounge. The floor mop to clean the floor on exiting was broken completely and unusable. Emailed the letting agent and allowed time for them to review as requested. Two weeks have passed, and no follow-up (not even to my follow-up email) and no offer to remedy the situation/our disappointment.

Summary: Great location, but incorrect beds for what we booked. Not clean enough. Missing daily items.
