Positive: Wonderful location above beautiful lake surrounded by field and forest. The house and gardens are a work of art! Charlotte served truly delicious breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. We enjoyed the place so much we returned a week later…

Negative: Peacocks were noisy early in morning.

Positive: Beautiful location - very peaceful. All the animals, the little shop, our ground floor apartment - all lovely! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Our dog loved to run in the field and playing with the host's dog. And the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely come back!

Negative: Our bathroom did not lock, which was a little chaotic with a family of four. Plus lots of flies in our apartment (before we even opened the windows). I understand it is a farm, but it was a little annoying. Also, maybe the shop could stay open a little longer?

Summary: Lively yet peaceful getaway. We will be back!

Positive: An excellent place to stay. Clean and comfortable, nice and helpful hosts. And a true countryside setting and atmosphere - including animals. Loved the cat, the dogs, the rams and the peacocks!

Positive: The setting was beautiful and peaceful. There was a short trail down to the lake. There was an ice cream place within easy walking. The innkeeper went to great trouble to meet our special needs. She served a delicious breakfast.

Negative: There weren't any restaurants nearby.
