Positive: Generally rating a hotel with 10 out of 10 is something I do only if the place is exceptionally good. Here I would have liked to rate with an 11 if possible. In principle the hotel is not "a hotel with a restaurant", it is a restaurant which by chance has gotten a tiny hotel in second floor. So the hotel part alone is nice - besides the picturesque surroundings, the whacking part is the restaurant which has one Michelin star (and deserves surely more). The complete menu is quite small and consists of local produced items, recipes are gourmet-refined Alsatian, even with the wine, you can stay on the terroir ( even though there is choice, no need to leave the region, at least for me as a Rieslingomaniac ). Enjoy the amuse-gueules! E.g. a microscopic cube of Presskopf on some mustard catapulted me back to my childhood experience of just this food, pretty much like - an Anton Ego experience in real life.

Negative: My stay there was by far too short. There are too many dishes that still remain to be enjoyed and there are corners in their wine cellar that are still mainly terra incognita...

Summary: Perfect! The place is worth a 500km detour...

Positive: Very nice place with quiet room. Very easy to travel into Strasbourg. Options to eat in the village if staying several days. Nice breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. We would return again.

Positive: The hotel was very comfortable and the staff did all they could to fulfill your wishes. The restaurant is a dream. The soundproofing is great

Negative: At this moment the roads are being repaired and it is situated in a corner of a much travelled road .
