Positive: We arrived and were greeted by our host. She did not speak much English as her children were away but we understood each other well enough. The room we chose was the Safari room. It was beautifully decorated and there was so much detail in the room. It was my husband's favorite room on the trip. The wifi was great. We opted not to have breakfast as it was 14 euros per person.

Negative: We arrived late and were very tired and during check-in our host did make the mistake of double-charging us (we had already paid but were so tired we could not remember fully). The following morning we spoke to our host and she took full responsibility for it when we showed her proof. It took nearly two weeks to get a refund but we did get it.

Positive: We loved the location, the character and history of the property. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. We would be happy to recommend this hotel to our friends.

Positive: The room was amazing, we stayed in the Safari room which was decadent and full of character. The bed was huge and very comfortable and there was plenty of room. Lots of nice little touches, like gowns, emergency sewing kit, and coffee and tea in the room. Our host was warm and welcoming. The property is an quiet wooded area but only a few minutes drive to restaurants and the tram into Le Mans.

Negative: Honestly, nothing. I wish we had time to stay for breakfast, but we had an early start and didn't want to rush.
