Positive: This is an old style French hotel. My room had clearly been renovated. The staff were very friendly and the evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was a bit basic but the half board arrangement was not expensive. Good situation less than 10 minutes walk from the Main Street. Quiet area and car park to the rear of the hotel. Ideal for a stopover for one night

Positive: Basic 'budget' room. Clean. Good breakfast and excellent evening meal offering big portions with choice of 2 different priced menus, each with several choices - 4 courses for €15, or €20. Allowed off road parking in private garage for our motorbikes.

Negative: Only bottled beer available. Outside could do with a spruce-up.

Summary: Don't be put off by exterior appearance:-good value and fine for one night. Would return.
