Positive: Room was perfect, we had 3 single beds and room for our luggage. Bathroom was large. Breakfast was a little different each day which was nice, warm and cold options. Lots of parking available.

Negative: drain in the shower was not the lowest point so water pooled in the shower, but it stayed in the shower so not really a big deal

Positive: A smooth, fuss-free stay. Check-in was simple, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. Exactly what you want when you’ve been on the road all day. We were only there for one night, so didn't really have a choice to explore the other amenities the hotel offered.

Negative: We got there after it started getting dark so wasn't immediately obvious where the entrance was or if where we had parked was the correct place to leave the car for the evening. The most minor of nit-picks!

Summary: A calm, comfortable base that did exactly what we needed.

Positive: Very nice, large room with outstanding bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location for a stopover during Ring Road trip. A plus - nice 3 km hike to the Grábrók volcano straight from the hotel (or shorter from the parking)
