Summary: What an unexpected surprise. The hotel was at the foot of the old castle and also had spa services at a very reasonable price which we took advantage of. We arrived early and the grounds were a lovely place to grab a drink and a nibble to wait for our room. This was an unexpected gem.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! We didn't know what to expect and loved it. Service is friendly and attentive, the hotel is across the street from the fortified city. Rooms were a bit small for 3 people but still comfortable. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but left feeling like we should come back to this hotel/city at some point in the future. Breakfast is incredible and scenery is beautiful!

Summary: The service, location and breakfast were amazing. The bed was very confortable and the bathroom very good. The only issue us thar the room was a bit dark.

Summary: Our family loved this hotel! The staff was so welcoming and the grounds are beautiful. Very convenient for exploring Carcassonne. Our room was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely book again!

Summary: Lovely room although a little small and the bed was only a double. We didn’t like the huge window between the room and the bathroom there is a blind but still see through. The toilet has a glass door too. Very little privacy, luckily we’ve been married a long time but could be tricky for a new relationship!

Summary: 13/10. The tub was big enough for two and I’m a big girl! My only hangup is the rooms are RIGHT by the front desk so my partner and I had to be mindful of noise. Other than that, absolute perfection.

Summary: Only one night in Carcassonne and the old city was a bit of a disappointment, thankfully the hotel was lovely - small, family run, and parking was a bit of a faff - but enchanting. Apart from yet another sliding glass door 'covering' the loo, and annoyingly loud music all evening in the bar/restaurant/garden, it was a nice space to spend time. Food options were limited but nice, staff deserve special mention - top notch! Spaniel is your best friend if you have food, cat takes further convincing- would be amazing in summer I think.
