Positive: Small and cozy, yet it offers everything we need. Gorgeous view, birds singing, comfortable rooms, spa, and whats the mist important - welcoming and supportive staff. Its quite place when you can recharge not only your own but also you e-bike batteries, breakfast is a dream.

Positive: Very characterful property. Cosy but large bedroom with nice decor and good quality bed linen and pillows. We had a room with a balcony and great views. Parking was easy and right by the room. The food was very good for both dinner and breakfast. Good portions of hearty regional dishes. Friendly staff. Spa was lovely and included in the price ( if a little busy on a fri eve) quiet rural location in lovely village and easy to find. They provide umbrellas!

Negative: It was raining when we stayed and the hotel does require you to go outside. The spa is in main building with most of the rooms but the restaurant is over the road, as was our room, in a separate building next to the restaurant. Not a problem for us but for anyone with limited mobility it might be an issue. Bed was comfy but we had to remove the mattress on one side and reinstall some of the stays that had come loose before we could sleep as the bed was making a noise when we sat on it!

Summary: Characterful gem of a traditional hotel.

Positive: This place is going to be our family’s new tradition. We loved everything! Beautiful facilities, very kind staff (they went out of their way to help us find something that we were looking for!) wonderful views. You get everything you need in one place - fantastic restaurant, cozy rooms, and lovely spa!

Negative: Nothing. Everything was great.

Positive: Have been staying at Arnold regularly over the years. It’s very well located for a travel stop in a very pretty village. The bed is very comfy and the shower room is great, plenty space and with a big powerful shower. Parking is easy right outside the new extension. The staff were kind and very helpful.

Negative: The hotel’s restaurant, which is across the road from the hotel, was shut on Monday when we arrived and the breakfast is served there instead of in the hotel as it used to be so we needed an umbrella to avoid the rain. Breakfast was also simpler than before and the cafe au lait not like we remembered.

Summary: Great hotel for a stopover but not quite as nice as we remembered

Positive: The location, the spa facilities, the staff very help, as l have limited French, special thanks to Tiffanne, she is a very hard working in the restaurant across from the hotel, as well in the breakfast room, her English is very impressive. The restaurant had excellent food as well as the service. Our room over looked the forest/ vineyards which was very comfortable, clean and spacious for our stay.

Negative: The only thing is there is no tea or coffee facilities in your room, this could be down to safety. They charge for tea and coffee, even at breakfast, if you can work the coffee machine it’s free of charge only at breakfast time it’s available.

Summary: Wonderful stay, would return as it’s a beautiful part of France.
